Key words: perfume, scent, fragrance
CHIQIO’s Forest Child perfume contains notes of Orange, Black pepper, Violet, Ylang-Ylang, Juniper, Vetiver, Tobacco, SandalWood, and Ambroxan. It is a fragrance that envelopes an aroma that is woody, refreshing, natural, and luxurious.
Due to the essence of the fragrance, the color that it most resembles is dark green due to it making you feel like you’re being embraced by a waterfall in the middle of a forest. While this scent is unisex, it has a more musky aroma making it seem a bit more masculine and darker. Due to this, the forest child perfume evokes and captures a scent that is more reminiscent to the essence of winter. The freshness and the crisp feeling of the fragrance makes you feel refreshed and cold in a way, resonant to the feeling of winter and to the feeling of fresh rainfall.
This is also why the fragrance might seem a bit more masculine since more feminine fragrances are more florally than woody. Moreover, I asked four people for their opinion on whether the fragrance was more feminine or masculine; 2 people from a younger generation said it was a bit more feminine but when it dried out more masculine, but then the other 2 from an older generation said it was a bit more of a masculine fragrance. So generally, the interpretation of the masculinity or femininity of the perfume varies within peoples tastes.
The type of person that this perfume represents and someone who would most likely like this perfume is someone who is a nature enthusiast. A person who appreciates nature is someone who finds comfort in the tranquility and quietness of nature. Someone who is most likely to spend most of their time outside is someone who will enjoy this fresh and natural fragrance that Forest Child provides.
A person with an elegant, minimalistic, and even minimalist style is someone who reminds me of the essence of this perfume. Someone who likes to explore and read books about gardening, animals, plants, etc. is someone who reminds me of this essence. Someone who might have a tiring job, and likes to come back home and reconnect with nature; is someone who reminds me of this essence. Someone who likes to indulge in artistic pursuits such as painting, sculpting, and photography; is someone who reminds me of this essence. Overall, what I’m trying to say is that the essence of the perfume is limitless, and does not belong to one prototype, or one type of person. It belongs to a person who reflects the essence of nature. It is for that child that still runs around that forest. That inner child that is reconnecting with nature.
